If you have traveled outside the U.S. within the past 14 days, or have come into contact with someone who has, AND are experiencing a fever, cough or shortness of breath, you may be asked to wear a mask within Lovelace Health System facilities for your protection and the protection of our patients.
You can't predict when a medical emergency or urgency will happen, but you can be prepared. The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center is proud to offer the only emergency department in the state that is 100% dedicated to cardiac care.
Our highly trained ER providers are ready and equipped to treat any cardiac emergency, including heart attacks, cardiac arrest and other heart-related emergencies. Our emergency department offers advanced surgical technology, including 24/7 cardiac catheterization labs and a broad range of vascular care.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 for immediate medical attention and request to be taken to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
If you choose to visit any one of our four convenient locations and have chest pain you may be stabilized and transferred to Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center.
