Your nutrition is important to your healing. Each meal will be prepared according to the diet ordered by your doctor and brought to your room. Please be aware that certain diet restricts, medication and/or illness may decrease your appetite. Your doctor may change your diet order or delay our mean times until certain tests are run or until medicines are distributed.
Guest trays are available for purchase in room. Please ask your nurse for more information and a menu.
The Corazon Cafe is located on the first floor by the main lobby and is open from 7a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The gift shop is located on the first floor of the Lovelace Medical Center where flowers and small gifts are available. Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Heart Hospital of New Mexico offers complimentary Wi-Fi through the hospital for our patients and guests. For your convenience Wi-Fi is available in most of our physician offices, patient rooms, visitor lobbies, waiting areas and dining areas.

Visitation is permissible 24 hours a day in general care areas.
Visitors are asked to enter and exit the hospital through the main lobby entrance on the south side of the building. The lobby doors are locked between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Visitation is at the discretion of the nurse and depends on the patient's condition.
Visiting hours may be limited during flu season and children under the age of 14 may not be permitted on the unit during these times.
To allow for nursing to provide shift to shift reports and assess their patients, we ask that there be no visitation or calls between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
To benefit everyone, all visitors are required to conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner. Any visitor who exhibits threatening behavior or the use of abusive or profane language will be requested to leave the hospital premises. Weapons of any type (including firearms) are not permitted on the hospital property.
We understand and value that our patients may benefit if a friend or family member stays overnight in the patient's room. Visitors who wish to stay overnight with a patient should notify the nursing staff.
For your convenience we have an onsite pharmacy located within Medical Towers. It's open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and offers bedside prescription delivery for our downtown campus.
